The things people ask.
If yours is not here, ask us and it will be.
Where are you, and when are you open?
Hawassa. Mon to Sat 8:00 to 6:00 · Sun 8:00 to 14:00 Open in Google Maps.
Do I have to order on my phone?
No. Every drink and everything on the shelf can be ordered the ordinary way, by asking the person at the counter. The site is there so you do not have to stand in a queue to do it.
Why can I see the menu but not order from it?
Ordering from the site is for guests who are already here. Scan the code on your table or by the door and the order button switches on for a couple of hours. It stops us making drinks for somebody who is not coming.
How do I pay?
At the counter, in birr. Nothing on this site takes payment, and we never ask for a card number online.
How long does an order take?
About 10 minutes for a drink at a normal hour, longer when the room is full. The page you get after ordering shows the counter moving it along, so you can sit down rather than watch us.
I have an allergy. Can you make something safe for me?
Tell us and we will tell you exactly what is in a dish and what we can change. What we will not do is promise anything is free of nuts, dairy, gluten or eggs: this is one small kitchen where the same surfaces and the same pans do everything. If a trace would be dangerous to you, ask first and take our answer seriously.
Can I book a buna ceremony?
Yes, and you should: it is a seat at a set time rather than a table you walk up to. Pick a date here.
Where does the food come from?
Our own farm, for the things a farm can give us: the milk, the eggs, the fruit in the juice. The rest comes from suppliers we have met. If you want to know about a particular thing on the menu, ask.
Are you hiring?
Openings are on the careers page. If nothing is open and you think you belong here anyway, write and say what you would do.
My question is not here.
Write to us. A real person reads it, and the answer usually ends up on this page.
